Arbor Day Essay Contest
All South Dakota 5th and 6th grade students are given an opportunity to express their love and knowledge for trees through the Arbor Day Essay Contest. The state contest is sponsored by the SD Association of Conservation Districts, McDonald's Restaurants of SD, Keep South Dakota Green Association, and the SD Department of Agriculture Resource Conservation and Forestry Division. Bon Homme County sponsors the contest locally and gives prizes for the county winners.
