Scott and Julie Van Gerpen operate over 800 acres of land in BonHomme County. Their conservation program has included the construction of grassed waterways, grass seedings, the building of a grade stabilization structure, well plugging, and the planting of windbreak. Scott and Julie attended The Soil and Moisture Clinic in Brookings through a scholarship given by the Bon Homme Conservation District.
